CCM Peer Ministers are student leaders from Drury, MSU, OTC, or other local higher education programs, who serve and lead through work, prayer, and example to further the mission of helping college students grow together into the saints they are called to be. Peer Ministers model Christian discipleship and servant leadership; they do not just plan or manage programs but become disciples and evangelizers themselves.
Peer Ministry Program will form students spiritually, morally, socially and intellectually according to the wisdom of the Catholic Church, so that they can become active participants in parish life, as well as moral and spiritual leaders in the Church and society.
Peer Ministry Program requires a commitment. The program virtually begins when the Peer Ministers accept their positions and concludes at the end of the current academic year. The Peer minister will serve an estimated 10 hours every week, including time allotted for Peer Ministers meeting, Peer Ministers Hang-Out, and other faith formation and/or mentorship opportunities/events (during the calendar semester not including breaks).
This program is fully funded by Catholic Campus Ministry’s Endowment Fund.
*There are currently two open positions for Peer Ministry:
