Welcome to CCM, I am glad you are here!
My name is Sister Agnes and I am a religious with the Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln. I grew up in the great state of Oklahoma with my blunt but warm hearted family. If my three older siblings and I weren’t eating my Mom’s amazing cooking, you could usually find us playing soccer at all hours of the day. After high school I attended Benedictine College which is where I met Christ personally for the first time. As it typically goes, the Lord keeps us on our toes and during my sophomore year I felt the call to enter the convent. The Holy Spirit led me to the Marian Sisters and I knew this was the next step for me. So after telling my family and a heart full of gratitude for two great years at Benedictine, I dropped out of college to enter the convent. It has now been five years since entering, and in that time I returned to Benedictine College and completed a degree in Theology and a minor in Education. But most importantly, I have grown in joy and freedom as a daughter of God my Father.
I love hiking with a passion and I’m always in the mood for a road trip. But on any given day you will probably find me having deep life chats, going on a run, talking about my love for Oklahoma, or reading a book by Luigi Giussani. I am so grateful the Lord has led me to be on mission in the beautiful state of Missouri and I look forward to getting to know you!
